humane care and treatment for all animals needing protection in the area
served by the corporation

cruelty to animals of all types

public opinion with respect to care, treatment and welfare

spay/neuter programs as a method of animal population control

suitable homes for animals without owners

euthanasia when necessary
In its care and disposition of
animals, the SPCA San Pat County shall maintain minimum, or exceed
standards prescribed by the State of Texas.

Goals Identified
The long-term goal of SPCA San Pat County is
to build and maintain an animal shelter that would serve the needs of San
Patricio County. It will serve the community by providing a facility
where people can go to adopt a homeless pet, where animals can be housed
in a humane manner while awaiting a loving home.

While we work on this long-term goal we will
also be working hard to educate the public about the need to spay and/or
neuter their pets.
We truly believe that with the help from the
communities we serve - this dream can become a reality. Together we can do
anything!
